ZDT

Eddie Current introduces the ZDT (Zana Deux Transformer), a vacuum tube headphone-speaker amp for those who desire the natural and lively sound of transformers and balanced listening. The ZDT drives speakers, too. Styled after the Zana Deux, the ZDT was created for listeners who requested the same musicality with these special features.

-- Single ended, or balanced headphone drive.

--Three input selector switch.

--100K Alps volume control.

--One pair speaker outputs.

--External low noise torroid power transformer, with 4-foot detachable umbilical cord.

--Hand wired point to point signal circuit.

--Dual regulated power supplies.

--Conservatively operated vacuum tubes.

--Will drive 8 ohm speakers to 8 watts.

--Recommended headphone load 8 ohms or higher.

--Power into 300 ohms 300mW.

--Power into 32 ohms 3W.

--Power bandwidth driving Sen 600’s -.5dB 10Hz to 40kHz Wide band noise less
than 250uV.

--Tubes included: 1 12AX7 driver, and 2 6C33C-B power triodes.
